Focus on your Dream

When you are in the process of working towards your dreams, don’t forget that they are your dreams. We get so caught up in wanting our dream to be someone else’s or expecting them to help us make our dream reality, that we loose our focus and become more caught up on trying to get others to see the logics in our dreams. We don’t need them to understand your dream, you need to understand it and figure out why you have truly decided to move forward with making it come to life.

In all reality, it takes you to get the ball rolling and researching on what you need to do to make things happen. Focus on the present and how it will affect your future. Having dreams are great because it gives us a purpose in life. Dreams tend to lead us in the direction of helping others in so many ways that brings excitement to your life. Stay positive while going down your road to success. If you allow in negativity, in sometimes a dream remains a dream.

“Beauty is only skin deep”

The first time I ever heard this statement I was confused by what it actually meant. I did not understand what that meant as a teenager. I thought this saying, “Beauty is only skin deep” was made up for those who people think are hard on the eyes. Well, I am older and learned a lot more about what it actually means.

You can be as beautiful as you want on the outside, whether you were born that way, had surgery or just added a bit of make up to cover up blemishes but if you have a small heart and bad intentions your beauty means nothing to anyone but you. You are considered one of the worst people ever to run into. I had to learn the statement, “treat others like you want to be treated” to completely understand how beautiful a person could actually be.

I have a huge heart and always try to help in situations where I’m needed or wanted. I enjoy putting a smile on someone’s face to better their day. I don’t mind giving someone money on a street corner holding a sign up, because that could be me or my family one day. Some people are put in situations that couldn’t be controlled and just need a helping hand to get out of it. Having pride is great, having too much pride can only keep you in a bad situation.

Learn to help, make someone else smile give a hug when needed and this is part of making you beautiful. People will enjoy the great positive aroma you bring to the room with your presence. Yes, beauty in the inside and outside is what they like to call, ” flawless”. Helping others gives you a big beautiful smile and leaves imprints on others hearts. Love who you are and what you can become by helping others. Remember, “Beauty is only skin deep”.

We are stronger together

Working against one another starts chaos and a lot of people get hurt and damaged. Working together gets more accomplished and brings upon true happiness. Having an ideal to be great is one thing, but having to implement things to ensure you are great takes a team. Teamwork is very important and should be your priority goal in life.

To start a business it takes an idea, drive, money and support. Yes, you have the idea, drive and money but no support only brings about true struggles and eventually you loose your drive and change your original idea to fit your current situation. You don’t want that! Bring others into your idea and explain things to them to help you succeed.

Everyone isn’t always out for themselves, sometimes people like helping others. Sometimes, people are just happy you ask for their help and make themselves available to you to help bring your dream too. Just because you may have to give someone a little money here and there doesn’t mean that they don’t want to help you. Remember it’s your idea that someone else is helping bring to life so you have to ensure that your keeping their undivided attention to get to your goal in life.

A stranger is willing to help if you ask them. Everyone loves a great idea and want to help in some shape , form or fashion to be apart of something. Helping you obtain your goals, gives others the drive to follow their dreams and eventually go after what is important to them. You could inspire someone else with your passions and success and began to grow together. Working against each other only slows down your progress as well as their progress and could leave you in a bad place.

We are stronger together and should loan each other a helping hand. We are united and should work as one to get the job done. I scratch your back you scratch my back. Teamwork makes the dream work.

I am 34 years old and have owned my own business since I was 29 years old. I am married with 6 children and 1 on the way.

I struggled without any friends willing to support me when trying to start my first business. I had a lot of negativity and a lot of bad comments suggesting I kept working for someone else. I became very discouraged because everywhere I turned there was a road block.

What did a few encouraging words do for my success from two important people in my life?

I had an uncle who spoke nothing but positive things in my ear. He reminded each time we spoke how intelligent I was and how I have always been determined since I was a baby girl.
My uncle Kenneth who is now deceased did all he could to make sure I succeeded in life by dropping by the office, celebrating my contract, finding me my first client and helping me meet payroll by lending me his light bill money.
My uncle has never been the most financially stable man, but he always was able to make ends meet and would do anything for family. No one truly knew his struggles besides his brothers and a few nieces and nephews. He kept his life confidential and never wanted anyone to stress over his situation.
I met a guy named Jeremy at my current job and began telling him one day what I was working on. He became very interested and wanted to hear more. A group of us after work got together and I explained everything to the group.
The only one in this group who even asked questions was Jeremy. He was so intrigued that he ask if it was ok to discuss more the following day to see if he could be of any assistance.
After knowing I was unable to pay him for his help, he stated that he was just happy to be able to help someone make their dream come true. Then he began showing me his notebooks that he had been working on since high school. His dream was to become a successful business owner.

Today, it has been five years and Jeremy and I are married with 7 children. We both are successful business owners and bestfriends. I would not be able to tell you this story today if he was not there to help me implement the things needed to be successful today.

Being a business owner and mother isn’t the easiest job , but it is truly rewarding in the end. My children are my future and will become very successful in life because they are apart of each struggle their dad and I go through to make sure they have what they need. They are being taught that things aren’t just given to you, but earned.

My uncle has taught me to always help people. I enjoy helping those who help themselves and strive for success. I smile everyday because I no longer have the same struggles as I once did and the ones I currently have are the ones of the lifestyle I choose to be apart of for so long.
